YC Registration info:

unite Grade 8-12 will be going to YC in Edmonton.

Registration Due before January 22, 2012 with a 50.00 non refundable deposit. Payments can be submitted to Pastor Kim or at church main office. Please write checks to avonhurst pentecostal church & note that it is for YC Registration. Please submit cash in a sealed envelope, Please print name clearly on front of envelope

 

If you change your mind or cancel after tickets have been purchased. You will still owe us the rest of the cost of the registration fee. Tickets are being purchased the last week of January!

 

Event Dates: May 25 -27

Departure: We will leave the church at 6a.m.on Friday the 25th )

Return: We will arrive back at  the church late on Sunday    May 27th - Arrival time for pick up will be announced

 

Cost breakdown:

 

Registration fee: $135.00(the 50.00 deposit will go towards this)

Lodging: 12 per person

Gas & Transportation : Approx 75.00 depending on gas prices and # of vehichles needed.  this will be finalized when I have registrations.

Food: We are going to bring some muffins, fruit etc. for breakfast & we encourage you to pack a lunch and snack for the trip so there will be about 6 meals that you will need to pay for. We recomend bringing $60-75

(Extra spending money for souvenirs, shopping etc.. is on your own )

Fundraisers


In order to recieve the benifits of a discounted price you are required to participate  in 2 of the 3 fundraisers currently planned.  The Dinner Theater on Feb. 11th is manditory. Participating in all three is better!!

1. Rent a teen (On going Starting in Janurary until May) students can sign up to do work for people in the church. Donations will go into the joint YC fund.

2. Valentines Dinner Theatre & Silent Auction Saturday feb11th


3. Sunday Morning Avonhurst Bake Sale April 1st 2012

4. More fundraisers maybe announced.


Rules & guidlines:


1. no energy drinks

2. behavior at youth events prior to YC can have a student lose the right to attend YC  without reimbursement!

3. While traveling with the youthgroup it is against the rules to leave the group or the facilities with out Pastor Kim's knowledge and the presence of a chaperone.

4. Youth group will be sitting together during services & will be required to spend free time in groups. of at least 2-3 people.

5. Please inform Pastor Kim of all Medication, money & expensive items that you will be bringing with you.  no technology is permitted  during services.

Note: If rules are broken during trip. Consequences will be discussed with parents and pastoral staff.


What to bring:

Sleeping gear, sleeping bag, foamy etc...

toiletries: Toothbrush, toothpaste, facewash, towel etc.

zip lock bags or small garbage bags for dirty clothing.

Watch/cell phone - for staying conected to group

clothing!!!

Music (Pastor Kim reserves the right to turn off bad music.. so please use your judgement!!!)
